A new developer mode option has been added to Chromebooks, allowing users to enable a new developer interface on their devices.
Developer mode allows developers to create and test code for apps in the cloud and lets them access the same APIs as regular users.
Developer mode also lets developers share their apps to users on GitHub.
Developer Mode is enabled by default on all Chrome OS devices.
Developers can opt out of developer mode by navigating to the “DevTools” menu at the top of the Settings app.
Users who have previously installed Developer Mode can go back to that mode, but that option does not appear on the developer options menu.
The developer options are listed under “Developer mode.”
Developers can also choose to disable Developer Mode for a specific version of Chromebook.
